Kind words.

Life seems to be a little harder these days than I remember from just a few years ago. Every person has their own demons or battles to fight. It's nothing to take personally, yet it feels so personal. Unkind words and put-downs can ruin the day.

I am thankful for friends who make a habit of using kind words, of building others up, of going beyond the occasional good deed and doing the extraordinary on a regular basis.

They are the sunlight and rainbows behind the clouds of life.
